Content ID, claims, and VOD mutes
Some tracks are registered in Content ID. Claim Clear (YouTube only, active subscription needed) clears claims on 'Claim Clear ready' tracks. You can safelist 3 channels so future uploads clear automatically, or clear 30 single videos a month. The video must be public or unlisted. For tracks that aren't Claim Clear ready, dispute the claim on YouTube using your license certificate. If you cancel, Claim Clear stops for new uploads, but videos already cleared stay cleared.

Watch out for
- Not for streams: no Twitch, Kick, YouTube Live, TikTok LIVE or IG Live.
- If you cancel, you can't use your old downloads in new projects, and unfinished projects lose their license. Finished, published videos stay covered.
- Claim Clear only works on YouTube and only for 'Claim Clear ready' tracks.
